Taylor Chip might be opening two new places for its pastry store when it closes its stand at Lancaster Market.
The Cookie Bakery plans to open a retail retailer and small bakery at 1573 Manheim Pike in early April. A brand new manufacturing facility at 23 Heart Avenue, Intercourse, will go into service this month, with a small retail space to comply with shortly.
Owned by Doug and Sara Taylor, Taylor Chip was an unique tenant of Lancaster Market, which opened in 2018.
Doug Taylor stated the Manheim Pike location was chosen as a result of it’s near the present Lancaster Market location, which is able to stay open till the transfer. Within the 1,400-square-foot area of Granite Run Sq. Mall, Taylor Chip will substitute Cinnaholic, which is slated to open quickly in a brand new location at 1831 Oregon Pike, the previous house of Plum Avenue Connoisseur.
In Intercourse, Taylor Chip will take over a location that’s the former house of Fox’s Pizza Den. Taylor Chip will use many of the outdated pizzeria for manufacturing, though there’ll finally be a small retail space in addition to seating for purchasers on a patio.
The strikes characterize a major enlargement for Taylor Chip, who hopes to rent 30 new staff for what had been an operation of about 20 folks.
