The Brooklyn Signature Hybrid Mattress combines coil springs with layers of foam for comfort and perimeter springs intended to provide better edge support. The mattress ranges in size from twin to California king and is also made in RV sizes. Sleepers can choose between three different firmness levels, soft, medium and firm, depending on their preference.

Fast facts:

  • Sleepers can choose between soft, medium and firm firmness levels

The Brooklyn Signature is a Certi-PUR US certified mattress that combines foam layers similar to memory foam with encased springs.

The first layer of the mattress is a quilted top designed to provide breathability for warm sleepers. The comfort layer is made of Brooklyn Bedding’s exclusive foam that adapts to the body with every movement. The transition foam layer is intended to provide comfort and deeper compression support in the soft and medium versions of the mattress. In the firm version, Brooklyn Bedding says the transition layer is one inch thicker for a firmer feel.

After the two layers of foam is a layer of recessed eight-inch coils. Brooklyn Bedding says enclosing the coils should help reduce motion transfer between partners. Brooklyn Bedding says there are stronger springs on the sides, head and foot of the bed for better edge support. Underneath there is a high density flexible base designed to provide more durability while strengthening the coils as they compress.

Brooklyn Signature by Brooklyn Bedding is available in three comfort levels. Brooklyn Bedding recommends firmness level Soft for side sleepers, Medium for combination back, side, and stomach sleepers, and Firm Feel for back or stomach sleepers.

The Signature Hybrid Mattress offers convenient delivery in a box, making it easy to transport the mattress from the front door to the bedroom. For sleepers interested in an upgrade, Brooklyn Bedding also sells the Aurora Hybrid mattress which adds a layer of gel memory foam to the mattress for around $600 more.
